1:00 PM to 2:00 PM - A Look Into the Past: AOL and Parallels in Blockchain

• An often repeated remark in the cult(ure) of blockchain is 'It's 1993!', in reference to the proliferation of the internet into U.S. homes and the resulting boom that would bring the NASDAQ to all-time highs and eventually produce viable enterprises that would take over commerce across the globe. The poster child for 1993: AOL.

• This video displays a history of AOL's rise, showcasing a company with deep technological roots, viral growth and an eventual catastrophic downfall:

• Let's find parallels in the landscape today, in the hope that we can find ourselves on the right side of history as it rhymes along.

10:00 AM to 3:00 PM - Peer-to-Peer Learning

• For those interested in the technical side, no DLT programming language experience necessary. Would be great if you've coded in something, but pure interest goes a long way. Self-learning programs include...
- CryptoZombies: Great primer on Solidity
- Ethernaut: Smart contract tutorial
- Hyperledger Composer: Build a Hyperledger solution from scratch
...and more.

• If you've got a project you're working on or something you'd like to further your understanding of with others, please bring it!

• Bring your laptops!

Finally, what would you like to do with the knowledge you're gaining in this space?
