Title: Designing a Human-Centered Blockchain 

Description: The talk explores complex real world issues and how to break them into simpler parts to solve using human-centered design approach. Further, we introduce the participants to the Blockchain from Awareness to Action cycle and how they can leverage this technology for solving some of the complex problems. The talk will be using a Story-telling style narrative with highly engaging examples for audience participation. Dhairya will also introduce the audience to information on access to communities for Blockchain developers to collaborate with and how they

Dhairya Pujara is the Founder, CEO at Ycenter. Dhairya's work in the field of Humanitarian Engineering and Entrepreneurship has created impact in 8 countries across 4 continents. He has created and delivered workshops around Social Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Technology using Human centered design methodology. Dhairya has been invited as speaker at the United Nations G77 agriculture event sharing his work with Kenyan farmers and has also worked with some of the top universities in the world to help students create high impact startups. Previously Dhairya has been a curator for World Economic Forum's Global Shaper Philadelphia hub and also contributor at The Huffington Post. Dhairya's work has been published in official TEDx blog, Philadelphia Business Journal, BBC Radio, SciDev in Africa among others. He is now working with Mike McCoy from ConsenSys on creating a Global curriculum for Blockchain and it's application in real world problem solving. In 2015, US government awarded him a visa, reserved for individuals of extra-ordinary abilities.
